VJ Five K lives in west london with his girlfriend and his young son. he vj's at various parties and events around london, working mainly with grooved productions and the music and lights collective. when hes not vj'ing he makes websites, animations and general graphic design for various clients.
he is interested in meeting other vj's and video artists as well as finding out about vj related events in london and around the uk - of course he is also interested in more (paid) vj work
tools of the trade: Arkaos VJ - i love this app for its ease of use and its stability.. my best choice for live vj'ing.
Modul8 - mac only so i mainly use this killer video app in the studio to prepare material for shows.
After Effects - one of my favourite apps for experimenting with animation and video processing.
Camstudio - open source screencapture software.
Virtual dub - i cant really do without this lightweight open source video trimming and processing app, wish it was available for mac though.
Mediacoder - very flexible open source media converter.
Visual hub - same as mediacoder but for mac and not free (but very cheap and worth paying for).
iMovie hd - maybe i shouldnt admit to this haha but it is great for quick and dirty edits and dv capture.
