Kraken is a monumental light installation. Its low-poly wireframe form is borrowed from old video game graphics and early computer-generated 3D objects. Like a digital bug from the early days of computing, the sculpture disrupts reality. As a symbol of the indomitability of nature, the Kraken recalls wild forces that transcend human civilisation. In the digital age, it embodies the uncontrollable power of new technologies created by man. This mythological creature becomes a living metaphor for the flows of data that traverse our world.
